EDO and GDO Data Download
WARNINGS!1) Due to errors or missing source data some datasets are affected by the following
irregular data provisions:
- The Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (fAPAR), MODIS source data, both Europe and World, is available only until September 2022.
- The Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (fAPAR) Anomaly, MODIS source data, both Europe and World, is available only until September 2022.
- The Ensemble Soil Moisture Anomaly misses the MODIS Land Surface Temperature component and is computed with two components (2M-Ensemble Soil Moisture Anomaly) only from the second monthly window of November 2022.
- The Risk of Drought Impact for Agriculture (RDrI-Agri) is computed with fAPAR Anomaly based on VIIRS source data since October 2022, replacing the MODIS-derived fAPAR Anomaly used in the previous periods.
- The Risk of Drought Impact for Agriculture (RDrI-Agri) is computed with 2M-Ensemble Soil Moisture Anomaly (see above) since the third 10-day period of November 2022.
- The Combined Drought Indicator (CDI) is computed fAPAR Anomaly based on VIIRS source data since October 2022, replacing the MODIS-derived fAPAR Anomaly used in the previous periods.
2) Due to an error, NetCDF and GeoTIFF files of the following products could contain wrong values for data of
year 2022 if downloaded in a date
between the 20th April 2022 and the 2nd November 2022:
- Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (fAPAR), both Europe and World
- Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (fAPAR) Anomaly, both Europe and World
- Index for Seasonal Forecasting of Unusually Wet and Dry Periods SPI-1, SPI-3, SPI-6, both Europe and World
- Standardized Precipitation Index, all accumulation periods, World
If you have downloaded such datasets in that period, we suggest you to download them again in order to have the correct data.
3) The Soil Moisture Index (SMI) and SMI Anomaly show unexpected pattern and values from 2022-05-01 to 2022-06-01; you can rely on the
Ensemble Soil Moisture Anomaly dataset instead.
For the same reason, the
Combined Drought Indicator (CDI) v.1 of 2022-06-01 has been computed with Ensemble Soil Moisture Anomaly.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
