Click this icon to go to the maximum available map extent.

Click this icon to activate the function and then draw a rectangle on the map: the map is zoomed in accordance with the drawn rectangle.

Click this icon to activate the function and then move the map with the mouse choosing your favourite view. It is possible to pan the Overview Map also.

icon of Identify (75) Identify
Click this icon to activate the function and click on the map: the layers available for a query are listed. To actually do a query on a layer, click the icon. To explode or collapse query results, use or respectively. Please note that in general a layer must be active to be queryable.

Click this icon to go back to the previous map visualization(s).

icon of Next in history (77) Next in history
Click this icon to go forward to the next map visualization(s).

icon of Reload (78) Reload
Clicking this icon, the map is re-drawn at its initial visualization, loosing all previous operations.

Click this icon to display/hide a geographical lat-lon grid on the map.

icon of Zoom to Country (82) Zoom to Country
Click this icon to activate the function and select a country within the menu: the map is zoomed to the bounding box of the selected country.

icon of Other Zooms (83) Other Zooms
Click this icon to activate one of the following functions (if available in the accessed application): Go to Town (with population > 50000 inhab.), Go to Weather Station, Zoom to Island, Zoom to Lake (with area > 50 km2), Zoom to Region, Zoom to River (with length > 50 km), Zoom to River Basin (with area > 100 km2), and Zoom to River Basin District. For Zoom to X functions, the map is zoomed to the bounding box of the selected feature. For Go to X functions, the map is recentered around the selected feature, without varying the current scale, if the scale is greater than a target scale (configuration property); otherwise it is also zoomed to that target scale. Regions are filtered by country, all other features by free text.

Click this icon to display or hide feature(s) selected with a zoom or an identify operation. When the display of selected features is active, this icon is yellow, otherwise is grey.

Click this icon to automatically apply a zoom in on the map. Every click triggers the display of the map at a zoom level increased of 1 unit.

Click this icon to automatically apply a zoom out on the map. Every click triggers the display of the map at a zoom level decreased of 1 unit.
