Resource Centre for Latin America

The Resource Centre at the EUROCLIMA DLDD Observatory is a research and reference service for Latin American government officials, journalists, researchers and others with a professional interest in drought and the problem of land degradation and desertification in the region.

The Resource Centre collections include online databases, recent Latin American documents on DLDD and an extensive list of worldwide periodical publications on the DLDD thematic area. The Resource Centre can assist the user in locating and retrieving the following types of material: geodata and scientific and technical publications on DLDD for Latin America (published by Latin American EUROCLIMA partners), useful websites with global operational and ancillary datasets to follow the problem of DLDD, reports from news portals worldwide in many languages, and much more!
